Warrior Sculpt Finished
This will have to be the end of the sculpting phase for the warrior - the challenge technically ends today. There is still some retopping and UVing to do, and of course texturing, but it will have to wait. Depending on how interesting the April challenges sound, it could wait for a bit, but this will be finished soon no matter what...

Warrior Progress #2
Still working on this polycount challenge. The bust plan was looking silly so I've gone back to full body which will hurt my chances of finishing by the deadline...but will most likely result in a much better looking final product~

Week 8 Drawing and Warrior Progress
Week 8 of Figure Drawing - certainly some progress compared to Week 1 !
Also some progress on Warrior dude - mainly the hair. My first real real attempt at sculpted hair, not too shabby.

Week 7 Drawings
Nice change of pace, a male model! Rare in these parts~
Also went to a sketching event where a -clothed- model stands around for us in a bar! Good fun :D
Mostly fast drawing is done there, and stylized is not only welcome but usually the norm but I tried to stick to realistic for practice:

Baby's First Community Challenge
So I promised myself, and other people, that I would participate on forums...so I am...
Anyway, I'm very late to starting the Character Challenge on PolyCount, which is a 2-month long event that started in February but I will try to work out a bust of the warrior concept for the month of March.
This is the concept: http://marko-djurdjevic.deviantart.com/art/Sword-of-jehammed-Final-485545969
Some kind of post-apocalyptic looking warrior dude...with a mishmash of fabric and weapon themes...but I'm not judging! I am modeling it regardless! (also the concept artist is pretty kickass)
Progress in the last few days - lots to do.
Also I'm totally using Jason Momoa as a reference for this guy, he could so be that concept dude :D
